“Is it?” Levi pulls his hood over his slick raven hair, and expertly zips his jacket.
“You’re not…thinking of going out there…are you?” You hesitate, lips parting in astonishment. Levi was never one to particularly like messy situations; and that meant being completely soaked under the rain which later constituted hours of dry cleaning and hot chocolate. Not that you minded the hot chocolate part…it usually accompanied much stubborn cuddling.

Levi can’t breathe.
The water from the faucet runs solemnly down the drain, the sound achingly glum to his ears. Any other time, Levi would have wrinkled his nose in disgust at the rust accumulation where water didn’t evaporate. But now he simply couldn’t care less. His hands threaten to slip from his clutch around the sink, but he holds on desperately, leaning over to stare at his bloodshot eyes in the mirror.

“I can’t cry.” Her voice is shallow yet oddly level as she stares up at the ceiling, contemplating her dilemma. Eren folds his arms and leans against the wall, his emerald eyes worriedly washing over her splayed hair. “I can’t cry anymore.”
“You..well…I...” Eren stares intently at his scarred hands. His emotions were never really subdued, cue his titan rage and constant black eye due to Jean. But for her, she was emotionally distraught, her conscious hitting a sheer, dead wall. He watches as she blankly tosses the last memoir of her dear friend in her hands. Yet however much he tries to convince himself that such a thing was normal, it seems a shard of glass worms its way into his heart.
